Omg the “just x% more” concept is brilliant! I’m always trying to encourage good habits in myself like “even running for ten minutes today is a win compared to none at all yesterday,” and I feel like this framing fits so nicely in that growth mindset toolbox. Thank you for sharing 💖

My imagination is opening my heart up as I think of sowing my garden in Western Montana where snow still lingers. A small but mighty practice that swells my heart is telling my daughters a short story from my mind every night before bed, co-authoring a vision of days ahead.

I love Tupac. He really embodies for me the lessons and dangers that only envy can teach you. I just think envy is so overlooked when it comes to how damaging it actually is. I’ve lost a lot due to dumb envy, but if you’re going to carry a lot of light, it’s just the price of admission I guess.

My favorite practice right now is from my writing group. It’s from a poem, “absolute attention is prayer” and it’s basically a practice to center yourself in the moment and write about whatever is in front of you in granular detail. I love it, it’s really really helpful. I am also drinking a shot ton of tea and reading tarot for myself every morning.

It's true. A beautiful poem from Mary Oliver. Great prompt to add to the list. <3

I don’t know about the necklace but I know that Madonna’s sweater is from Trash & Vaudeville. (I worked there at the time). The owner, Ray, bought them from someone who made and sold them on the King’s Road in London. Trash might still carry them. The pastel ones were always more unusual. They tended to have big bright stripes or big loops that sort of looked like loose string.

Amazing :) I love Tupac and also had no idea about him and Madonna.

One practice I’ve been doing, that I committed to for the entire Venus Retrograde is sitting on the floor once a day. To ground, and see where it takes movement wise. Sometimes it leads to a stretch, other times dancing, or some sort of full workout.

I will definitely implement the idea of 5%. You’re right, sometimes it feels to much to do more. But maybe not 5% more. Thanks for sharing :)
