Have you ever met someone and felt an instant connection, like you’ve met before?
Have you visited places you’ve never been before and felt at home there, maybe even more comfortable than your current home?
Do you have deep-rooted patterns that are so ongoing and familiar that they seem lodged in deep in your bones?
If it feels like you’ve met someone in a past life maybe it is because you have.
Some of those patterns seem embedded because they have been for lifetimes.
Here’s a quick cosmology check-in from moi:
I believe in reincarnation and parallel universes. Time is a spiral: and all time happens simultaneously. Energy is neither created nor destroyed.
Our spirits are both part of the greater whole/spirit, and have their individual, unique essences to express that contribute to the whole. This includes healing patterns of shame and clearing wounds, some from ancestry, and some from past lifetimes. Gotta love a good both/and.
What we do in this lifetime not only affects our descendants and the future generations we come into contact with, but it also affects our future lifetimes. It plants the seeds of what we might get to experience, as a spirit, as a soul, moving forward.
Looking into some of the experiences our spirit has encountered in the past illuminates some of the challenges and wounds of the present. Awareness is a key factor in healing. When another perspective is offered, resolution is easier to make and it is much easier to unhook, move on, and make peace with the hard.
Healing moves backwards and forwards. Time isn’t real, time is very real.
Chronos and kairos time intermingle and co-exist.
Past life regression is a way to peer into other lifetimes you’ve lived to gain closure, collect insights, and shed light on some of the more mysterious, hard-to-language experiences you’ve had in this one.
I’ve been studying and learning hypnosis formally since 2020, and took a past life regression training as part of it. I was instantly hooked, after having several regressions which highlighted particular dynamics in my family, and showed me the main patterns my spirit is here to make progress around.
Regression also unearthed other random questions, like why I am inexplicably scared of horses. (In a past life, I was a circus performer who was thrown from a horse and suffered greatly as a result.)
Every time I do a regression, I am offered another point of view, sometimes wildly different than my own. I’ve been different genders, different races, and once, I was an alien. Clients of mine have been animals, orbs, plants, and pure levels of consciousness. That experience alone is worth the investment.
Past life regression offers up a Zoom-out approach. We can get so kneck-deep in the muck of our own story that it is hard to dig ourselves out of it. In regression, our subconscious steps forward, remixes and rearranges the details, and presents us with our patterns through a different lens and context. This grants us the space and freedom to step back and to choose whether or not we wish to continue them. I also see this as our past life self doing us a solid: often in a regression, you get right to the key moments and messages of a person’s life. The wisdom that took them decades to glean is presented to you in the space of 30 minutes or so. This creates a deeper connection to our spirit, our inner wisdom, and all of humanity.
It’s absolutely ok if you don’t believe in reincarnation or past lives. You can still do a regression and receive insights around patterns and a sense of resolution often only found through EMDR, long stretches of therapy, and somatics. I believe that when we decide to undergo a regression, we have agreed to open up our subconscious so that we may receive the guidance needed to compost outdated beliefs.
When I’ve led online group regressions I share that not every regression I do is a true past life. Sometimes, it’s simply my imagination stepping forth and giving me the information I need in a way I can receive it. It’s subconscious and somatic reprogramming, akin to a potent dream or powerful psychedelic experience.
I’ll be leading in-person, intimate groups in past life regression throughout the year, in my cozy studio in Highland Park, Los Angeles. It is this Sunday evening and you can sign up here.
Have you ever done a regression?
What did you think?
I so wish that I lived locally, where I could come to this event in person. Is this something that you could offer via online session, or does this type of regression practice only work if it is in-person? Thank you!!
Thanks for sharing. My toddler tells me stories about other realms and lives. I take lots of notes 🗒️ 💓
