Yesterday, we had a beautiful gathering and an effective energy work session.

If you are new to energy work/my work/the Moon Studio, welcome!

All my offerings have components of depth psychology, somatics, energy work, and practical application. This was a nice introduction of what it is like to work with me, and deepen your connection to yourself, your body, your energy, and your intuition.

I spoke a bit about some topics that are coming up right now, that are important to recognize in your life. Here are 4 of them below:

  1. The origins of your energy. Is it yours? Is it old? Are you still mad at your parents, and it’s coming up now? Are there some old experiences you had, that the election is bringing up? Have you been totally exhausted for the last great while, and it’s coming into the forefront now? It is important to process those emotions separately—meaning, do not copy and paste old wounds into the present moment. Your emotions and energy can show you root wounds that it is time to process and clear. Take the time to do so, in order to step into present time. Remember: the more you can find effective ways to process your older emotions, the more tools you will have as things continue to come up.

  2. Projections. For an aware and conscious person such as yourself, it’s often very easy to see other people’s projections. It’s more challenging to notice when you are the one projecting. Now is a great opportunity to take a step back, and notice when you are making assumptions about another, or subconsciously “assigning” another person a role that has nothing to do with them, but everything to do with an unprocessed shadow you have. And when you do notice another’s projections, be aware of how much energy you want to spend with them. Do you really need to convince someone, prove something to anyone, or overextend yourself who is not offering you the same energy? I also talked about not getting trapped in matching energy. (I also answered a question using that framework.)

  3. Meeting the moment. In the session, I shared about how the night before our gathering, I was in the ER from 9 pm to 5 am in 10/10 pain. I used various tools to meet the moment and come back to myself. We meet the moment as it is, as who we’d like to be. The more we practice, the more truth and opportunities emerge.
