Welcome to 2026!

The theme for January is Still. Yes, the Gregorian year is new, but it is still winter. You’re probably still wrapping up an issue or trying to resolve something from last year. You’re probably needing more chances and spaces to be still, so you can do so.

In January, you don’t have to talk a lot or do a lot. You don’t have to plan out your year, if you don’t want to. You can just be still.

This is a year that will fly by in a blur. Take time to center and think intentionally on what energies you’d like to leave with, what experiences you’d like to have, and what main themes, skills, and relationships you want to focus on. More than anything, this is a year to create something you’ve never created before.

Contemplate the Magician. Contemplate your card of the year. Give yourself time to catch up to yourself. Reflect: What do you want to see that doesn’t exist? What have you always needed or wanted? What do you wish existed in the world? How do you wish you could be, more often?

And, how can you allow your muses, messages, and inspirations to find you if you’re busy, running around, and in a blur yourself? Stay quiet enough to let inspiration, the next steps, and helpers find you.

Be still.
