February 2026 Tarotscopes
ICYMI: Our foundational Intuition class is now open for enrollment!
To celebrate, we’ve got some supportive podcast episodes for you. Tune in for a podcast on Acting on What you Know in Uncertain Times and then a reading with beloved moon studio community member DeYandré Thaxton here.
The theme for February is Reality in Conversation with Herself. Reality is always in a call and response with herself through your experience. All of us are dreaming, all of us are trying—are you dancing, too? Have you joined the party, monastery, library, or playground? Get out. Give reality more chances to speak to you by speaking with it. Remember, you can create your reality, but you can’t control it. This month is great to be in one part surrender mode, and one part conscious creation mode. When in doubt, put your ear on reality’s door and listen very carefully. When it feels time, open it up and walk into another, slightly upgraded version. Luck is the residue of design.
—This intro is from Many Moons 2026.
Please read for your Rising. Folks also like to read for their Sun, Moon, and Rising, and then any other prominent placements in their chart, such as stelliums, Venus, Mars, or Pluto.
It would be good for all signs: go back and read your December and January Tarotscopes. They could make more sense now!
Aquarius
Knight of Swords
February is a big month for you, Aquarius. It is your season, and it is go time. In general, you like a slower, steadier pace, but all the energy combined with your card of the month, the Knight of Swords, is asking you to seize the day. Don’t overthink, don’t ruminate—take action. If that means finally dealing with some long-standing issues, tasks, bills, and errands, that still counts as action. Harness momentum and focus. It’s time to become unfuckwithable.
This month, Saturn and Neptune leave your house of resources and money—this coincides with an influx of cash, ideas on how to make more, or more support around what you truly value. The planet of structure and the planet of dreams now move to your house of short-distance travel, siblings, and communication. Called the House of the Goddess by ancient astrologers, this is also the area of everyday rituals and magic. For even more cosmic activation, later this month kicks off eclipses in your sign, joining Pluto, which all screams one thing, Aquarius. Change. Transformation. Movement.
I’ve tried to prepare you for this moment for the last 6 months, Aquarius. I suggest you go back and read some of your former Tarotscopes. It’s time for you to trust yourself, focus, and move forward in a different way, potentially in an entirely new direction. Where you were guarded, try vulnerability. Where you had fear, practice courage. What you had always thought wasn’t possible for you now can be a reality. It all starts with your beliefs and mindset, Aquarius. Question what you think is true for you. Imagine new scenarios. It’s a new time, with a different territory to explore.
Journal prompts: What is a fixed mindset I have about something I don’t want to admit I want? What is a fixed mindset I have about something I don’t want to change? Why?
Spell ingredients: Journal entries, a new writing format or practice, selenite, songs sung in a different key, and patience.
Pisces
3 of Pentacles
Themes of money, resources, and values will permeate not only this month, but your life for many years ahead. Saturn and Neptune are now in your 2nd house of resources, money, and what you own. The 3 of Pentacles confirms that the worlds of work, worth, and collaboration need to be a priority now.
This month, I suggest you exhale, and celebrate. Saturn no longer inhabits your first house of Self; you could feel less stuck now. Over the last 2 years, you probably stalled out more than once. You were misunderstood, projected upon, and disappointed more frequently, too. And a disappointed Pisces is an ineffective one. But, you made it, and a different energy is available now.
Some Pisces placements are being asked to be more strategic about money and resources. You might have to get a little more grown up and do some things you don’t want to do to build for your future. You might have to work with those you don’t entirely trust to do so, or simply be more open to collaboration and support. Some other Pisces placements, those who might have felt forced to buckle down and be more “safe,” are being asked to be more whimsical, playful, and rehydrate those dreamiest dreams. In my world, 3’s are always about the Secret 3rd thing, aka, the middle way. There is a world where you can feel worthy, make more money, and live out your dreams more. If anyone can find a way, you can.
Journal prompts: How can I find faith and hope around my work in the world? What skills or resources are hiding in plain sight?
Spell ingredients: Breathwork, journaling, carnelian, to-do lists, and Secret Studies: Intuition.
Aries
6 of Wands
Themes of new chapters, moving on, new challenges, serious energy stewardship, and where and why you hold yourself back are all on your mind this month, Aries. The general vibe for this month, and this year, Aries, is “now or never.” When I pulled your card, the 6 of Wands, I also kept hearing the phrase “fast and furious.” The general all-around vibe for you is acceleration. That could usher in waves of fear and exhilaration. Both are valid.
There are 2 memories I have that apply directly to you now, Aries placements. The first is once, when I was complaining about something to a friend. They innocently replied, “But aren’t you a witch? Can’t you just figure this out?” When in doubt this month, use your magic. The second is a reminder from one of my first witch teachers: People still got rich in economic downturns. People still were happy, found love, bought houses, grew families, and found community even when times were chaotic, hard, and heartbreaking. Aries, the world is on fire. The world needs you. Find a way to both serve the world and move forward on your goals and dreams.
Let the leadership parts of you rise up. Find the courage and creativity to respond to your life as your present self, not as your younger self, your teenage self, or scared parts. Stay aligned and alive, and know you’re meant to enter a new arena, a different stage.
Journal prompts: What kind of leader do I become when I act from inner conviction, rather than reaction? How do I know the difference between ego and gentle leadership? How do I know the difference between response and reaction?
Spell ingredients: Tangerines, stretches, voice lessons, pitch emails and decks, and Many Moons.
Taurus
Judgement
When Judgement turns up in a reading, it’s a time to take yourself, values, and discernment seriously. The amount of upheaval and curveballs you have dealt with over the last 7 years have made it hard for you to trust yourself and take risks. You’ve gotten into a sort of bracing position with life that has calcified into a holding pattern. Not wanting to lose anything else is valid, but life is not meant to be played in defensive mode, gentle Bull. Especially not for someone as naturally generous and beautiful as you.
Judgement is a card that asks you to assess if you are proud of what you’ve become and what you’ve done. It wants you to take into account everything you had to go through, too. You get to answer, from your heart of hearts, have you done what you came to Earth to do? This is a year you have the opportunity to change your fate. Don’t confuse what has happened to you in the past with what will happen in the future. Only you know what you’ve been up against, sweet one. Forgive yourself, learn from the past, and trust that you can and will respond differently next time.
In some ways, you have become invincible, Taurus. You just have yet to realize it. You lost a lot, but never lost your integrity. You got betrayed, but you still have an open heart. It’s safe to let your guard down and focus on all the beautiful, exciting, and sweet things you’re ready to sink into. Every day this year is a day to practice having your own back.
Journal prompts: How do I know I have my own back? How can I spend more time on the beautiful things I want to create, and less time trapped by rigidity and fear?
Spell ingredients: Discernment, box breathing, hellebores, tourmaline, and Secret Studies: Intuition.
Gemini
The Page of Wands
Gemini! Themes of dreams, community, friends and wishes are all going to be activated this month and beyond. That’s because both Neptune and Saturn entered Gemini rising’s 11th house. You have truly shed endless skins in the last 2 years, Generous Gem, as Saturn perched in your house of vocation, calling, public life, and career. Now you are more sure about what matters most, center those passions more.
This year is ripe for going back to school, getting a certification, finding a new community, and taking your daydreams seriously. Your card of the month asks you to become a student of your own energy. Do you need to move more, more frequently? Is Qi Gong your speed, or do you need to sign up for the shooting range? The quality of your overall energy is up for a renovation, too. Consider your outputs and inputs. Notice how much you consume, versus what you create. Treat everything that enters your ears, eyes, nose, and brain as being ingested into your energetic field. Make decisions accordingly, and see how your energy shifts.
Right now, you’re in dialogue with potentials, not certainty. You’re at an exciting beginning stage. You aren’t supposed to know, so stop trying to figure it out. Allow your desire to exist without shame. Let the inner fire speak, share, and signal where to go next.
Journal prompts: What has recently stirred my curiosity, excitement, or sense of aliveness? If I did not need to be certain, or validated yet, what impulse or desire would I allow myself to explore this year?
Spell ingredients: Art made of found objects, tinctures made of buds, jumping jacks, sunrises, and carnelian.
Cancer
The 8 of Cups
Themes of new careers or the next stage of your career, internal foundations changing, grief as a teacher, and looking towards—not looking backwards are all the energy to lean into this month. You’re poised towards fundamentally new horizons; there’s at least one decision you’ve got to make, that once you do, there’s no turning back from. Before you do so, understand your attachment style and how it functions as a filter of both your needs, and the ways you sabotage. Name some of the ancestral patterns you are ready to heal.
A lot of what you seek this year involves relationships—both new ones and also switching up the dynamics of existing ones. Your relationship to work, vocation, legacy, and what you want to be known for. You’re supposed to be known for what you care about most. As long as that is what you center and pursue, you can’t go wrong. It’s time to be coaxed out of your crab shell and thrust back into the world, Moonchild. It’s time to own what you need in your most intimate relationships, too.
If this seems like a lot, well, it is. Saturn and Neptune are moving into your house of public image, reputation, and visibility. Yes, this can include career and work, but it’s also about how you present yourself to others. Cancers placements tend to be projected upon, and it can be hard to discern your Self from someone else’s projection sometimes. Your first priority should be coherence, and becoming more real to yourself. You’ve got years to figure out the bigger stuff. Start by investigating what masks you wear for love and acceptance, what defenses shield you from grief, rejection, and disappointment, and practice meeting your own needs more often.
Journal prompts: What emotional dynamic, bond, or pattern am I staying attached to not because it is best, but because it feels familiar or regulating? When I imagine stepping away, emotionally or physically, what sensations arise in my body? What would it mean to trust that leaving is not abandonment, but an act of self-attunement?
Spell ingredients: Generative grief, water, emotional honesty, Many Moons, and Secret Studies: Intuition.
Leo
5 of Pentacles
When is enough enough? Where do you sell yourself short? Themes of safety, security, and financial independence come up to be dealt with in February. They will arise through feelings of lack, or some kind of friction or contrast around your work and your time. And while this system forces us to mostly focus on finances, this is also about being yourself, sharing yourself, and trusting that new streams of security and opportunities flow from that. Don’t confuse fresh starts and beginnings with lack. Something will come from nothing—it always does.
Much of this is about attitude: a temporary lull or missed opportunity is not forever. Impatience interrupts congruence. Be gentle: show up to these new endeavors with snacks and affirmations of encouragement. Be clear about where you’d like to go, so that even if the first drafts are less than impressive, you’ll be able to tell that you’re making progress. Let yourself be in-process, you can’t expect to know what you can’t.
There’s somewhere in your life where you’ve been confusing a fantasy for reality. Lip-service for actual friendships. Intentions for actions. It’s time to get real and stop wasting your own time. It’s time to get a plan, ask for help, and take action instead of feeling sorry for yourself. Nervous system healing is created when you give yourself different opportunities for healing. Security is created by staying inside your body through surprises, by being kind to yourself no matter what. This is a month for doing things differently, and an invitation to redefine abundance.
Journal prompts: When is enough enough? Where do you sell yourself short?
Spell ingredients: Cash money (saving it, investing it wisely, placing it on your altar as a reminder that you can always have it), health appointments, this podcast episode, oat straw tonic, and Many Moons.
Virgo
5 of Wands
Themes of expressing what has been suppressed, taking inflammation seriously, and dropping petty grudges are all coming up for you this month. Commit to your general mental, physical, and emotional health. Stress needs to be dealt with now before it worsens later. Specifically, I’m seeing that there are a few main areas in your life where stress is a baseline experience for you. Your system is set to overdrive here, overriding certain physical and energetic cues to calm down, stretch, and take a break. It is ok to slow down, calm your body, and take a break, Virgo. Whatever chaos or load you are dealing with is temporary, but the outcome needs to be a true shift.
Now is the time to make even more decisions about rearranging life and relationship structures. If your life right now resembles the floor of a teenager’s closet before laundry day, that’s ok. You are in the part of the Marie Kondo episode where everything you have done, owned, believed, or identified as is all laid out before you. Now you will sort through and assign what will stay, and what will go, in order to spark more joy.
If you find yourself stuck, remember that it all comes back to energy. What makes you feel energized, and what drains it? Who you want to collaborate and connect to, and who to avoid. Who you are becoming, and why you are becoming, this next version of yourself.
Journal prompts: Where am I experiencing unnecessary stress because I’m trying to manage, correct, or optimize too much at once? What would happen if I allowed someone else to handle things without immediately rushing in to take care of it or fix it? When does my body tighten, brace, or contract the most?
Spell ingredients: Selenite, Many Moons, a morning routine including boxing or lion’s breath, early evenings spent decluttering, and an anti-inflammatory diet.
Libra
3 of Wands
Themes of self-exploration, storing up energy, and prioritizing certain relationships are all on deck for you this month, Libra. “The other” isn’t merely a nebulous idea to reflect on, rather it’s a real invitation to step into. How you allow others to treat you, and how you treat others in return. How you view and sort out those who aren’t on your wavelength, and why you give certain people a chance. (Or not.) You tend to see everyone equally, which is a beautiful quality. But sometimes, that means you can neglect your most loyal relationships because you feel obligated to connect to all your admirers. A DM from a stranger does not need the same kind of energy and time as a family member, Libra.
If you’ve been waiting—for a sign, for someone to change, for circumstances to get less rocky—don’t. When in doubt, anchor into the bigger picture. Zoom out. The minutiae of each day can become overwhelming, and most likely, you’re going to have a slightly heavier load this month. That means you might be more irritable or frustrated. The pile-up is temporary. Libra risings have had Saturn and Neptune in your house of work, service, health, and daily drudgery, and there might be a bit of a clog or backlog there for you to deal with. By April, things will smooth out. By April, some personal relational situations will also be clearer.
The 3 of Wands is a spiritual mini-update; similar to a computer being rebooted with a new program. This could translate into a daily spiritual practice, a wisdom teaching you try to implement for the entire month. Maybe, you start a joint spiritual practice in collaboration with your lover, roommate, bestie, or coven. Don’t spend the month trying to force outcomes or change people. Orient gently to a new horizon, and appreciate the ones you love for who and where they are. Paradoxically, it’s through love and acceptance that one changes, and they probably will.
Journal prompts: Where am I being asked to relate differently—to others, myself, my reactions, so that I am less stressed out and depleted? What larger picture can I anchor into, to keep me oriented towards open fields, not trapped by old assumptions?
Spell ingredients: Pink Crush Candle Set, rose petals, honey, a simple somatics practice.
Scorpio
6 of Cups
There’s someone in your life who needs or wants something from you that you feel uncomfortable about giving. You might be interpreting their needs as a threat, not a request. It could feel too vulnerable for you; it could be that you simply aren’t sure how to give them what they want. There’s a place inside of you, Scorpio, that hides a tender secret. It’s a place inside of you that you guard fiercely, like a dragon guards gold.
Wrapped up in that gold is grief. It’s also fear—that the same patterns will repeat, you’ll be abandoned, or punished, or shamed in some old, painful way. One way to process grief is to write down your resentments, your regrets, and your appreciation. That’s also a great way to remember what is most important for you, right now.
That “someone” could be a close beloved, but it could be a part of yourself. As Saturn and Neptune leave your 5th house of children, creativity, and play, old narratives, fragments, and your inner children resurface. Giving someone you love what they need is a way to deepen your relationship and trust, even if you aren’t perfect or polished. Especially if it’s a vulnerable and precious part of yourself.
Journal prompts: Where am I confusing emotional avoidance with emotional safety? Where am I confusing a need with a threat, or vulnerability with fear?
Spell ingredients: Flower Agate, this podcast episode, vanilla-scented candles or room spray, and love.
Sagittarius
7 of Wands
Looking back at this month, what do you want to have said you did? Tune into your best self, the part of you who knows what you are capable of. Try being your best self, so that every night when you go to bed, you can sleep knowing you did your best. Dig into the sturdiness that props up your spine, relish in the grit that has gotten you through the dark days. Stay kind, but be firm. All the work you’ve been doing around worth and boundaries is paying off. Ironically, the payoff for this kind of progress—at least at first—is more discomfort.
In February, both Neptune and Saturn move out of your 4th house of roots and foundations, and into your 5th house of creativity, fertility, and joy. Focus on staying in your body, as a way to feel safe enough to express freely. It is through this repeated safety around expression that more spontaneity and play will emerge.
This playfulness will balance some of the tense energy of the month. You will figure out how to navigate sticky situations with great skill this month. You can see what’s going on, and not react or succumb to helplessness. You can understand why you may want to fall back on some unhealthy coping strategies, but still choose to do something better. Think about how good it will feel to stay on your path, even when it’s hard. Think of how good it will feel to stay in your body, in the present moment, practicing new skills and songs.
Journal prompts: What belief or truth am I being asked to put into action with greater discipline? Where—and when— do I need to stop overexplaining, proving myself, or defending myself? Where do I need to set clearer boundaries so I’m not constantly defending myself or over-explaining?
Spell ingredients: Character maps, passion maps, tourmaline, and rosemary.
Capricorn
2 of Wands, Reversed
Nobody loves getting shit done like a Capricorn. Nobody else loves a direction to confidently gallop towards, a mountaintop to scale like you. So, I’ll hold your hand gently when I say this: in February, please slow down. In February, please rest, recuperate, and wrap up those lingering items from last year. (Don’t be ashamed, we’ve all got them.)
Your card is the 2 of Wands, the card of new spiritual directions, walking down a different path, and momentum. When it’s reversed, there could be delays, fogginess, impatience, or frustration. This can show up as over-planning, second-guessing, or waiting until something feels perfect, or complete, before taking action. This could look like blaming outside circumstances instead of looking within. The invitation here is to notice where fear of making the “wrong” choice is stalling your growth. The other invitation is to notice where business and urgency help you avoid deeper issues or harder truths.
For all you Seagoats raring to go, you can still take action. Create a series of different plans. Write them all out, put them all on the wall, and review them. See how each one feels in your body. Figure out ways to streamline, or approach a goal with more ease. Clarify your priorities, choose one small step, and let micro movements help you make larger decisions. Be considerate, be intentional, and remember that compassion is an action, too.
Journal prompts: Where am I pushing or forcing a direction because I can’t stand uncertainty or pausing? What unfinished business from 2025 do I need to take care of this month?
Spell ingredients: Earthing, salt, polychrome jasper, and asking for support.
